Slot car timing and race control for the garage track and the club hall. Club testing runs from mid-December 2026.
Keep me postedEvery lap is timed on a steady clock, unaffected by midnight, daylight saving or internet time corrections. Part laps are worked out from the timing, and laps that are too fast to be real don't count.
One app for a Raspberry Pi, a Windows PC or a Mac. Home even runs on a Raspberry Pi 3B+. Plug in the lap counter and a TV and you're racing.
A starter pack of car classes, cars and race settings ships with it. Tap Quick race, add the drivers, and the first race is on in two minutes.
Use the APEX lap counter, a Trackmate timing interface, or an Arduino running Race Coordinator's Arduino program. An Arduino with that program works with APEX as it is: pick it under Setup and enter its pins.

Every setup is a few short steps with selection tiles. Next stays off until a step is complete, and nothing starts blank.
Rotations put every driver on every lane. Late drivers and early leavers are handled for you, and heats already run never change.
The breaks between heats run themselves, so the organiser can race too. A click of yours always wins.
Block or List layout on the TV, live order, heat results between heats, and in Club a second screen with its own cards.
Seasons with dropped rounds and seeding, one-day events with imported drivers, and multi-day meetings with carry-over to the finals.
PDF reports and Excel exports, results by driver class, and encrypted backups before every big change.
APEX knows the cars you race: hundreds of cars from the main makes, sorted into car classes, in 1:32, 1:24 and 1:43.
1:32: Scalextric, Carrera, Slot.it, Ninco, Scaleauto, NSR, Sideways, Revoslot, MR Slotcar and more. 1:24: Betta, JK Products, Red Fox and others, including approved bodyshells. 1:43: Carrera GO!!!.

Home ships with the 1:32 starter pack; Club can import the full catalogue.
